How can i start an essay about starvation and wat can i write about in the essay?

i have to write an essay about starvation and i dont know how to start my introduction. i wanted my intro to start in a unique and interesting manner. And i need 5 paragraphs in my essay, but i don't know what to write about for the 3 other paragraphs. Other 2 paragraphs are my introduction and conclusion. I really need it ASAP. thanx 4 all ur help! =)

YES this has everything to do with whats going on in russia .and the rest of the world. The only reason Clinton was ever put in office is so he could be ridiculed by the media and so America could see the problem with our Gov. has been fixed (in the subconscious). Same thing they did with the N.C. lottery right before it came into effect in that state they had to put someone in court for something to put in the subconscious that any problem that might BE is gone from the subconscios mind of the masses. I know this sounds out theyr but do the homework mkultra and such youl get the picture. Doesnt take a scientist with a PHD like Dr, Judy Wood to figure out a 110 story building cant come down in 10 seconds without some help.Though i did like her presentation. What she found is prob. what scared the hell out of north korea and made them start freaking out. Its also probly why China has recently anounced its putting more sattelites in space alot more.Judies got it down to a science litteraly just think 47 story tall building has a higher rubble pile than 2 110 story buildings hmmm time to do some math . 2. sally j is there something wrong in your brain? do some reading on starvation, look up the Warsaw Ghetto here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw_ghetto it's basically where 50-100 thousand people either starved or died of disease during WW2. The interesting part is that some doctor who was locked in the ghetto decided to write a report detailing what happens to humans as they die of starvation.
3. intro: introducing the topic of starvation in general. definiton. maybe a short history of starvation. body paragraphs: choose 3 aspects or specific cases of starvation. possible topics: hunger strikes (e.g. ghandi), eating disorders (e.g. anorexia nervosa), famous famines or examples of starvation in history and present day (concentration camps in WW2, Darfur today, potato famine in Ireland), the use of starvation as a means of capital punishment (more info on wikipedia. search for "starvation"), the biological effects of starvation on the human body (this might also be good to start off with ( a fast-paced description of what kind of stress the body is put through), and legislature recently passed or organizations that are trying to combat the world epidemic of starvation (e.g. the hunger site) and their use of the internet as a vehicle for their cause. concluding pargraph: re-statement of thesis. there are so many directions that you could go with this! depending on what class this is for, you can tailor the topics you include to the material that you are learning about currently. just make sure you do an outline. believe me, it will make the writing process easier!!!!! p.s. if i were you i would do an essay on 3 major reasons for starvation: to harm oneself (paragraph one), to harm someone else or a group of people (paragraph two), and to prove a point/for a cause (paragraph three). 1: talk about eating disorders. 2: concentration camps, use of starvation for capital punishment, etc. 3: ghandi and other famous cases of hunger strikes
